Our Cause

THIS IS THE HOUSE THAT LOVE BUILT.

This is a big year for Hospice Halifax. Ground breaking in fact. Construction is well underway on Nova Scotia’s first free-standing residential hospice – a feat that would not be possible without the generosity of Feeling the Love supporters.

Hospice Halifax supports people and their families in end of life care, making the process respectful, peaceful and dignified. They connect families in a home-like setting at a time that is both difficult and precious. With your help, Hospice Halifax will open their first ten-bed, two-story residential hospice.

Hospice Halifax is a registered not-for-profit organization that supports people and their families in end-of-life care. We emphasize the heart in hospice and we connect families in a home-like setting at a time that is both difficult and precious.

HOSPICE HALIFAX

Halifax is the largest centre in Canada without a residential hospice. Based in the community, hospices care for the whole person and respect individual choice in defining quality of life. We are committed to the establishment of free-standing residential hospice facilities within the Halifax Region. To learn more about Hospice Halifax, please visit www.hospicehalifax.ca
